The program says "YOU have no media flash player" EVERY time I start the program or EVERY time I click on "getting started", even though I have a SWF and FLV player installed and I can see the SWF files that the program has on /help folder. It's terrible, and I have no options or preferences to disable that disturbing message. I came here searching for a solution.
I was using PDF Suite Professional 2010. The earlier releases seemed to work better than the current release. A couple of examples:
- I've taken a PDF file and modified it by "blacking out" an account number, then saved it. the resultant file causes an error message in Acrobat Reader.
- I wanted to optimize a previously created PDF file. This file was created in PDF Suite and no errors reading it in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once "optimized" the result file also had error.
I contacted Customer Support, they suggested that I was using the wrong font and should change the font of all my PDF files. Second option was to re-install the product with the latest release. I tried that and it was even worse. I could not get a refund past the 30-day period after purchase (which was in March of 2010).
So, I give the product a grade of "F" and I give their Customer Support a grade of "F"
